Three years ago, my friend gave me a rose, we all think it's an old tea rose. By comparing pictures on the hmf, I guess the rose could be tea rose 'Peace'(1902). But I can't get more information about it.
Could you help me identify the rose or tell me more details of Peace(1902)? Thank you !!! ( I will post pictures in the reply )
Some new photos, summer flowers and leaves
contact your local HRIA group and take the rose blooms along to a meeting, also I would ask your friend were they bought the rose for a gift.. HRIA groups have a copy of our book in the library to check the botanical details. 'Tea Roses, old roses for warm gardens' Good Luck
And these are autumn flowers ( before frost )
here is a photo of my 'Peace 1902' I think that your rose photos look like G.Nabonnand.
These are flowers and leaves of summer, you can see pleasant red buds.
HThese also spring flowers and leaf
I will post photos of the rose in three seasons, these are spring flowers.
The flower is large, double (but petals will decrease in summer) ,light yellow (some photos look too bright, it's because of the camera ), borne mostly solitary bloom form, almost always blooms except in winter. The first day it's yellow, and the next day it will be dyed pink. Petals are very easy to roll. Fragrance is not strong.
It has almost no thorns, the edges of leaves are serrated, slightly wider, new buds are very red.
Hello 2579250699,
I would like you to post a discription of your rose and if possible a few photos of leaves, and blooms. I grow both 'Peace 1902' and 'G Nabonnand'.
'Peace 1902' is a cream coloured sport of 'G Nabonnand. Looking forward to your follow-up information 2579250699.
