Afternoon Tea Among the Roses

What a treat last Sunday afternoon at Jan’s, even the intermittent showers could not dampen the day. We began with a short leisurely stroll around the garden, before afternoon tea was served either on the patio or inside where tables were beautifully decorated and laden with afternoon tea fare.

Later, most of us wandered outside for another look at the rose-filled garden, with many roses high up in trees, over pergolas, spilling over gardens, down to the smallest hidden in pots in the garden. All were surrounded by irises, geraniums, euphorbias, feverfew and so many more, with buxus throughout to bring structure to the garden.

A truly wonderful rosey afternoon! We hope you can join us for our next afternoon tea!
