Vale Noelene Drage

It is with deep sadness that we inform members of the passing of long-term HRIA member Noelene Drage. Instrumental in forming the Perth Region in 1991, Noelene became its first Coordinator and went on to become National President for 1996/7. She shared her passion for, and knowledge of, heritage roses to inspire so many people.

In recognition of her exceptional work, Noelene received the Deane Ross Memorial Award in 2001 and was awarded life membership in 2003.

Noelene was a person of great vision, courage and action and we are grateful for her leadership, her generosity and her friendship. She will be greatly missed.
