Events

During the year we hold fundraising events, and free fellowship days where we all chip in and do pruning and maintenance in some of the Public Gardens that we assist in maintaining.  We also list events from our parent website, Heritage Roses In Australia, and Events listed on other websites relating to Roses that may be of interest to you.

HRiA Conference

Friday 17 October - Monday 20 October

Heritage Roses in Australia Conference, Toowoomba Queensland

The Heritage Roses in Australia 16th National Conference will feature a programme packed with garden visits, friendship and of course roses. The Conference will be based in picturesque Toowoomba, the Garden City of Queensland, renowned for its beautiful parks and gardens, and home of the State Rose Garden of Queensland.

Over the four days of the Conference, delegates will visit 13 gardens – the State Rose Garden, historic homesteads, landscaped beauties, plant lover’s paradises and members’ personal heritage rose gardens, throughout the Darling Downs and beyond.

Conference events will be held at the Burke & Wills Hotel.

A number of Perth region members are already speaking of making the trip and it would be great if a large group from Perth made the journey. Think about it!

You can find all the information you need on Heritage Roses in Australia website.

We would encourage you to join as a member of our parent group Heritage Roses in Australia and help us to keep old roses in the public domain for perpetuity. Find out about the member benefits and more here.
